Back with a wing!

I joined last year when I was considering a Silver Wing, but finances dictated otherwise.
Now I am the proud owner of a 2006 Silver Wing and I'm back on the Honda Silver Wing Scooter Forum. A re-introduction seemed polite.
However, I may still not be on the right forum as I have purchased a 400 Silver Wing originally from Italy. I don't really know what I've got, the import paperwork states Honda FJS400 and I've had to insure it as an FJS600 with a 398cc engine! But then I see there is also an SW400 Silverwing? Any education from those more knowledgeable will be appreciated.
The main thing is that it is more than adequate for what I need. I shall probably have a few questions and hopefully share some experiences in the near future.

Congrats on your "new" ride. This is probably a good place to learn about your wing. You might also check out the www.x9ownersclub.co.uk. We have a number of members here who are members in it and it has become more of a general riding club. Maybe between the two sites, you will find what you need.

I met a chap in Belgium who had bought the first SW400 to be imported there.
He rated it very highly.

There's a Rideout on June 7th. starting near Wincanton; Paul c's organised it and some of us are going. His previous ones have been most enjoyable.
As Hi Yo said there's a cross-over between Silverwing600 and the X9OC so members from both are always welcome on each other's rideouts.

Welcome to the site. I think the only difference is the engine so you should be able to get a lot of info here as well. Tell us how you like it if you get a chance.

Not sure what's what but the 'new' 400 is a sleeved-down version of the 600 so, one assumes, virtually identical.

Thanks for the welcomes. I've now confirmed that I do have a FJS400. I've started a thread in other scooters to discuss the differences as I find them. The main thing is I can't fault it, it's doing everything I need and doing it very well.
