I ordered a large (59-60)AGV mowie helmet for summer riding £119 but it would not fit over my ears, I measured the internal dimensions which were correct so I can only conclude that motorcyclists in india where this helmet was made have strange shaped heads or prehaps they use them to transport melons. I returned the afformentioned helmet and purchased a showie platinum r which is very light and a good fit although £100 dearer, anyone else have problems with AGV helmets ?

Without dredging up all the oft-repeated stuff which appears on every scooter/motorcycle forum it seems that different manufacturers make different shaped helmets.
Nolans are just right for my bonce but the Roof I bought ages ago wasn't - I didn't realise until I tried a Nolan.

I bet that's your problem - you measured your head correctly but the helmet's not made for it.

I buy at least 2 new helmets a year--I find, find a brand that fits and stick with it---Right now Arthur Fulmer fits, priced right, available in US bike shops, no internet. Also I have Vega NT200---light weight/comfortable---waiting for replacement visor.

Back to AGV...I thought they were from Italy.

I have little choice -- It's HJC modular for me as they make very large sizes and I wear an XXXL. YES THAT IS THREE EXTRA LARGE. Too bad my watermelon sized head is not account of a really big brain.
