I am hoping I am doing this correctly, as I don't do a lot of forums. My name is Brian Owen, I own a 07 Honda Silver Wing ABS and enjoy it very much. I have owned it since 09, it only had 300 miles on it when I purchased it, it now have about 12K on it. As I have seen on some post, that would be LOW mileage...lol I love to ride but it KILLS my back, which is how I found this forum, searching for a seat, windshield, and other accessories to make it more pleasurable to ride Smile Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

welcome    Welcome Brian. If you go to the search box in the upper left hand corner, you can type in  seats, windshields   ( I think the Givi AF214 adjustable is the screen of choice), or other items. This should give you a lot of information and help you ask specific questions. It would help to know more about your physical description and the type of riding you do to help us know what might help you.  I hope you find what you need.  welcome

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of good info and many helpful people here. You've probably tried about everything but have you tried one of the support belts like guys wear in a warehouse or somewhere when they do a lot of lifting? I just got an Airhawk in the mail today. I'm looking forward to trying it out when the weather cooperates. The Givi adjustable windshield gets tons of good reviews. I may get one before too long. You can find a ton of interesting stuff by just wandering around the forum. You can get lots of helpful (and a smidgen not really) feedback by asking questions. Good luck.

Brian, thank you for your introduction. The Givi AF214 is in my opinion is the best windshield. If you're handy with your hands you can make your own backrest out of your buttstop, have a look at this link. The Leroy Beal backrest mod.

Thanks for the link model28a. It looks simple enough to do and looks like it will be comfortable.

Have you tried a kidney belt ? Any good motorcycle gear store would have one. It helps to tighten your mid section and support your back. I have no personal experience, but my leather jacket has a built-in kidney section that feels really snug and comfortable. I am planning to upgrade my shield, a plain one: weather up here is too cold to worry about air vents.
