| Hello new forum friends!
Got the '07 version of this oversized scooter - 7 years now - less than 12K miles. Toy hauler to pull it about - we have visited 22 states together.
Mostly low-key, laidback, and easy type riding - except in heavy cager traffic down here in the Bayou City.
The old girl is getting a nice face - dropped her in a gravel pit. Gotta love that reducing deductible - $125 for $2400 worth of gravel-grind!
alot a new tupperware and she will look as sweet as a full Texas moon in the spring.
Ride safe Swing'ers

| Greysilver, If memory serves a 1960 Cushman was the fist "motorcycle" I ever rode. I remember it having non-existent brakes...?? |

| Howdy from the Alamo City! I bet we'll find tons of Silverwing riders in the Lone Star State. These are really big scooters but having ridden Goldwings for years I think they are 'cute'. Looking forward to learning lots of good info here! |

Pretty close. My first two wheeled powered bike was a '50 Cushman. It only had a rear brake. No brake light. Took a country mile to stop in a hurry even though it wouldn't go much more than 45mph. That's a guess too, it didn't have a speedometer. Welcome to the forum Running Rabbit! It's good to see there are plenty of fellows who don't have that "macho" thing about scooters. You can help kill the 'sissy' outlook on scooters by beating HD Sporties across intersections when the light goes green. These maxi scoots really are handy and quick machines. |
