On doing a front wheel noise inspection ,turned out it was sand on the brake pads from riding through road construction that was making a grinding noise. I decided to measure  the distance of travel compression.I measured 3 " of visible travel .The manual says I should have 4" of travel .Is this normal? would Hyper pro spring give my swing a longer traveling stroke?

Hyper Pros would not reduce the suspension travel, but would sure make it better.
