| I got interested in scooters when my wife decided to start riding her own bike, we picked up a Yamaha Majesty and 10000 miles later she bought a new 09 NSA700. We went to a couple of run what you brung at the local drag strip and she did OK, so instead of trashing her bike I picked-up a 04 Swing with 12000 miles for $1800.00. So I'm going to take a whack at setting the Swing up for a quick 1/8. Pickin up good info on the site, thanks. |

| Wisdom,
Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy it. Are you going to try to drag race your SWing? If you are the best way, and cheapest, is to install 21 gr Dr Pulley Sliders. They will give you some great pick up and you might also want to put a very low sport shield on it. I would think the best you could do is get a 6 second 0-60 mph time, unless you go with nitrox. Keep us informed on what you do with your SWing. It will be interesting. |

| Thanks all for the welcome, I'm going though the scooter for my wife to do a little bracket racing at the local drag strip (Little River Texas) she comfortable and cuts a great reaction time. With a consistent rider on a consistent scooter it should be easy to run the same dial- in over and over again and that equals wins. Anyway, I'm just looking to wake up the bike and make it safe for the rider. Clearview sport W/S - used Malossi fly clutch and ver.2000 new belt valve clearance P/C - preprogrammed - used Delkivic can. ALL new fluids. |

| Welcome from Dallas - lots of Texans on this site. Had a Majesty and commuted on it for 5 yrs and loved it and got used to the no-shifting thing. Lots of good stuff on this site. |
