| Fellow S'wingers, please? How do I access the battery? I have a 2011 ABS with a dead battery in need of replacement. A picture sure would help. Thank you. |

| Thank you for responding. I did view the tutorial as well. The picture in the manual was not clear to me. The photo showing the single screw was a great help. I guess this battery is pretty small? |

| I changed my battery once and it is small. I was surprised that it cost almost $100 for something so small. Tell us how it goes after you replace it. |

| One of the best batteries going is the Odyssey. I've used them in three bikes and found them to be long lasting, plenty of cranking power, and very dependable. Not cheap but worth the price.

| I've been using a Shorai battery for a couple of years and I'm very happy with it. But it too is not cheap. Shorai website |

| I did find the battery and yes the single screw cover looks exactly like the drawing in the owners manual.
I was looking for the battery in the floor of the compartment, not on the side, mounted sideways. Were it not for pre conceived notions I might be trainable. I charged the battery with a trickle charger and ill wait a couple more days to see if it holds. Cheers and happy new year.
Thanks for the tips on what to buy. My scooter , Top, is an 11' so the battery is 3 years old, pretty good service life for just sitting around. I may buy what Honda recommends. Probably not a Yuasa after reading here. |
