"There are old riders, and there are bold riders. But there are no old bold riders". Given our Mr Grinsel's 3 bazillion miles I don't think that he would condone those theatrics. That'd be the forte’ of Indian Larry, and look where he's at.

Umm...Evel Knievel died at 69, but hadn't performed since 1980 (when he ran out of azzhole pills). Indian Larry died at 55 from taking too many of those same pills.
Our Mr Grinsel, on the other hand, doesn't wear underwear, doesn't take any of those performance enhancing pills, and is still putting many of us to same with the amount of miles he puts down in a year.
Hmm...Mr G still rolling at his advance age yet not wearing underpants. Both Evel Knievel and indian Larry who wore Fruit of the Loom are tragically dead. A coincidence?...I think not.

Let's not pick on John. I have to say I respect the hell out of the guy. He is in his mid 70's and has recovered from a stroke. I think it is great he is still riding and I hope I will be able to ride when I'm his age. He also still does his own work which I don't even do anymore other than oil changes and windshield changes.

For those of you familiar with the darwin awards, I think this guy is a prime candidate. No helmet, no gear, and flip flops, while doing all that. Doubt he will live long enough to pass on his genes.
