hello from pennsylvania

So I've been on these forums for awhile now and thought I would get an official introduction in.  I'm from central pa Lancaster area and have an 05 wing I've had for going on 2 years.  Ride mostly for commuting at this point although there's been plenty of fun miles as well!  So far I've found the advice and tutorials on here great as I do mostly my own work on the bike and put around 10-12k on a year average.  Thought I'd also include some pics for my first part here.  Enjoy!

Good Morning Apollo. As you know this is the best SWing site on the Net with lots of help and people willing to share their knowledge.

I'm retired and have an 08 SWing with just over 21,000 miles on it. I'm currently waiting on a new battery to show up hopefully Tuesday. No Biggie. The weather here is supposed to suck for the next few days anyhow and seeing as I don't ride when it's raining I guess it will be business as normal. It's one thing to get caught in the rain while on a ride but I won't volunteer to ride in the rain. Twenty or thirty years ago it was a different story but now I'm more of a fair weather rider.

Anyway, WELCOME. Nice photos of your SWing by the way. It looks just like mine. I almost got scared there for a minute and had to run out to my garage just to make sure it wasn't mine. WHEW!! But then I realized, how could you have made it all the way to MN and back home overnight because I was just out in my garage last night and she was still there. But then on closer inspection of your photos I realized it's not mine because mine is on the side stand and not the center stand like yours. I have a mind like a steel trap. Too bad it's all rusty!

Dale no problem ... I know sometimes they look alike. I kind of got a late start to riding this year but that being said I've already put somewhere are 2100 miles on just this year. When I first got the bike 2 years ago it had around 9100 original miles on it and now it's sitting around 32,000 Although I will say the weather here is probably a bitter better than Minnesota this time of year (we're looking at 86 today for the high).

As a new owner it's nice to see guys doing 10-12k a year on the swing consistently.

Apolo welcome to the forum. I guess I don't need to post the links I normally post for new members, you've probably read them numerous times. Thank you for introducing yourself, it's nice to know a little about the members here. You have a nice looking scooter, but of course it is a Silverwing.
