I made a trek to one of the last spots in NE Indiana I have never been too Sat.
Around a 140 mile round trip and a stop along the way to snap some pictures of one
of the last covered bridges in Indiana. Scoot ran smooth and had no problems
I did a quick lap around the lake before heading home.

I seem to remember quite a few covered bridges around Turkey Run S.P..
Were you near there? Most of my memories of Turkey Run and several canoe trips down Sugar Creek are somewhat hazy due to the 2 gallon jugs of Margharitas that were carried in the canoes as supplies for the long paddle ahead!

Turkey Run is a 3 hour drive approximately southwest of me and yes 51 of Indiana’s 98 covered bridges bridges are in Parke County.  Maybe I should clarify the Spencerville Covered Bridge?  Built in 1873, it is one of the only remaining covered bridges in NE Indiana.
