seat damper

hi everybody in our club,i ride a sw 2005 model an lately I had to purchase a anditnew seat damper strut from bike badit.com,i looked in my hondaservice manual an there is nothing  listed how to replace the part,does anybodyin our club ever replaced a seat damper, thank you joe manista,lake havasu city,az

Joe most of us have replaced he seat gas strut. If you do a search you will find lots of info about the strut.

Joe welcome to the forum. All you need to do is pull the clip pins, locks from each end and remove the damper. Then put the new one on and put the clips back in. You may find something more about replacing the damper if you look through or search the three links below.
If you plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with the service manual and help from this forum.
