New to Swing forum

Hello,
I bought my first Silverwing about two months ago and really am enjoying riding it. It is a '04 model. It has a Givi windshield and a top case.
I have owned motorcycles for almost all my life, but this is the first scooter for me. I had been looking for a scooter for several months and finally decided on the Swing for the reliability factor. I have been reading and looking at the tutorials and they have helped a great deal. I have the service manual, but I like the personal tidbits that are on the forum. Thanks for the info. Mickey

If you are looking forward to learning and plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with your service manual and help from this forum. It's nice that you already have your service manual. You pointed out the tutorials so you already know your way around.
Do you still have any standard motorcycles? You live in some nice riding country, your SilverWing should perform well for you.

I haven't had a bike for over 10 years. I do like riding around here quite a bit. However, with all the rain it has been hit and miss when you do go out. Thanks for the welcome. Mickey
