Hola, retired old fart here. Yesterday purchased 2011 swing with only 245 miles. Having owned both 400 and 650 Burgie's thought I'd try something new. Been riding 2 wheels since the early '60's. Also in the garage I have: 2015 FJ-09, 2015 NM4, 2015 FJR, 2014 F6B, 2013 DL650 and '75 CB750 restored to cafe racer (sold '92 750 Nighthawk to make room for the swing). Back in '10 when I retired rode a Goldwing to Alaska, the ultimate bike ride.
Thanks for allowing me in your forum.

Welcome! You have an impressive resume when it comes to scoots! You may want to post of the pics you shot on that Alaska ride. I suspect lots of us are envious...of the ride AND your garage!

Welcome and congrats on your new SWing.  Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as your Burgie's.   One thing though...this is a Chicago Bulls site that just happens to have fans that own Silver Wing's.  lol

Welcome to the forum Hondafreak.

Being a Philly guy I'm not all that sure about what Jeff just said about allegiance to the Bulls, but I am a big fan of Chicago hot dogs.

Welcome to the best SWing site on the net Hondafreak. Lots of info and people ready and willing to help with projects SWing related. I am also an old retired fart who owns an 08 SWing.

In a way JeffR was right. There is a lot of "BULL" from Chicago... Smile Sorry JeffR. I couldn't help myself.

Tim,

At least you enjoy a good "Chicago Dog" which is a redeeming value. Laughing

Dale,

I am 'aghast' of what you say about people from the Chicago area (or formerly). We still know people who can pull up to your house in a black limo. You have watched "The Untouchable" haven't you? We do things the Chicago Way. Evil or Very Mad

I'm so very bery sorry JeffR. Please forgive me...

While I do like Black limos I don't want one pulling up in front of my house because if the passengers like basketball, or whatever "sport" they like I'd have to run and hide. Besides, I don't think a black limo could catch up to or over take my SWing... :lol!:

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. My bike trip to Alaska was a disaster...............in terms of pictures. I bought a new camera and took loads of pictures, come to find out the dang thing didn't work right (or I didn't know how to use it) and all pics suxed..........oh well, an excuse to do it again (not really too dang far for this old bod). We have great hills in the SA area, couple times a week I do a breakfast ride out there. This forum already helped me technically..............today I ran wires from the battery to the left pocket to power accessory socket, digital voltmeter and power for a couple driving lights, did it without plastic removal, too easy!
