| uk ebay has a second hand screen for sale @£70 buy it now or offer, i was tempted but i remember i had a givi on an xmax and spent most of my time peering through 2 holes the PO had drilled in it. I have an extender on mine that seems to do the job so except for the side extensions would not be much use to me.
all you givi advocates, do you look over or through a Givi ? |

| Most forum members that have junked the useless OE screen have opted for the Givi AF214 Airflow which is 57cm tall offering 12cm of extension and adjustability. That one on eBay is a Givi 214DT which is 63cm tall and 10cm higher than the OE screen, so if you're not tall enough to look over one of those you will be looking through it.
That's also the screen that requires the two metal brackets fitted. The same fitting kit is also supplied with the Airflow and the installation instructions in the usual badly photo copied Italian are for the 214DT. |

| I am one of the minority who has the fixed Givi 214DT on my SW and I absolutely love it. I mostly look through it ( I am 170cm ), but can look over it quite easily. I experience very little noise behind the screen and in light rain I remain nearly totally dry. I would not buy it for that price unless it is in perfect condition. |

Well of course...there's the shipping costs to Oz as well Mr Gremlin! We still suffer the "tyranny of distance" even in these enlightened times of disruptive digital technology that sits in the cloud blah blah blah... |
