I read this forum extensively before plumping for a Silverwing, and the existence and quality of the forum was a significant factor in my decision.

In the month or two (and a few hundred miles) I've had the scoot the forum's been a great help in resolving a few queries about the bike, and clarifying my thinking about potential mods.

Mine's a blue 2010 'Wing with Honda topbox, more or less standard, c 8,000 miles.   I bought a Givi Airflow screen on the strength of the comments on here, and yesterday removed the hopeless standard screen to fit it (with help from the Pictorial guide someone had posted on here).  Only then did I find that the new screen had been broken in transit, so the Honda screen went back on.  (The Givi suppliers were very good about it, and promised me a replacement before the end of the week.)  

I've also bought some Honda leg deflectors - a bit of an indulgence, but I saw some cheap (at least compared to list price) and they may become harder to find in future.  I've not yet fitted them, as its still pretty chilly here, and you need heat (applied or ambient) to set the adhesive off.              

The only other mod I'm planning as yet is heated grips.

8] when you take a ride wheres your fav route and why. Around here I have a few favourite minor roads and country lanes - for the scenery, the bends, and to keep away from heavy traffic for a change. Norfolk is rather flat, though, and I look forward to riding in hills and mountains again.
