| As I mentioned in my introductory post, I was planning on buying a friend's Silverwing. It finally stopped raining enough here on Saturday so I went and picked her up. I was pleasantly surprised to learn I was mistaken on the model year. This bike is NOT a 2007. Rather, it is a 2009 model. I put a couple of hundred miles on it since Saturday and I am very well pleased with it.
I always name my bikes but I have yet to come up with a proper name for this one. I was toying with "Swing Fever" but that seems more a feeling than a name.

| Looks good to me too, Geezy.
Now if you'd only ride about 200 miles west you could get away from that flat, uninspiring, seashore terrain and into some hills & twisties.
Don't fret n' regret over naming your scooter, just enjoy the ride

| She's Japanese, so you can't name her Gertrude or something like that!

| Congratulations on the new to you SWing! The 2007-2009 is a big deal because you will have an O2 sensor now and that usually means better MPG! Ride safe! |

| Beautiful bike! That is the same color as mine. Given the deep red color Ruby or Claret would fit... Have fun! |

| Congratz! When I posted on my Savage forum I was thinking about trading my S40 for the S wing, one of the members came back with 'good lord that thing's longer ,taller, and heavier than a savage (savages are pretty small cruisers) it's the scootertanic! so my S wing's name is the scootanic :lol!: |

I do like that color. I couldn't agree more. Maybe because I Have the same year and color. I have put about 56,000 on mine since I got it in 2110.[/quote] Did you transport it back here from 2110 or did you transport it into the future that year? Sorry CathyN, I couldn't help myself... Yes it is a great color and nice looking SWing! |

Dale, there you go picking on another citizen of Chicago. When will you ever learn? I'm sorry. I guess it's just that "Windy City" thing. AND NO I'm not calling all people from IL airheads either... :lol!: |
