joining from Chicago

Hi all, just joined from Chicago.  I have a 2007 Swing (with 16k on the clock and had all Honda scheduled service records and belt change at 15k..) that I picked up a few months ago - and love it.  It's my daily commuter back and forth to work and last weeknd I took it Chicago to Nashville and back to visit my daughter...a blast and so comfortable (put a GIVI windscreen on prior).  I ride pretty much year round so next upgrade might be heated grips... Look forward to checking in here often to learn more, thanks.

That looks like a nice scoot in your picture - I'm sure it will serve you well.

You mentioned heated grips. I've got the Honda heated grips on mine and, to be honest, they are no better than the pair of Oxford one's that I've got on my PCX 125 scooter. The Oxford ones were about a third of the price!
The Honda one's are ok but very expensive so it's worth having a look at other manufacturers ones and save yourself some fuel money.

The only reason I have the Honda ones is because I got the bike new and had the dealer fit them before I picked it up (in one of those 'new bike attack of over enthusiasm' moments!).

Hi from Finland! Your SW looks exactly like mine (owned it now for 2 months). Great scoot! I´ve got Oxford touring heated grips and they´re excellent, except the original battery is so bad that it runs empty after every time I use them. The battery is now 7 years old and I don´t know it´s history. Got the Givi Airflow installed yesterday and after a short ride found it very pleasant. Bought a cover for the winter today (not so happy for it) as the season will end soon , but I´ll start counting the days for the next season. I guess your weather and winter are pretty much the same in Chicago, cold winters with snow.
