| Welcome fella. Most here on the other side of the pond, but there are a good few of us over too, albeit rather thinly spread. |

| Welcome, Ivan. There are some of us here who got tired of shifting. I've had a lot of motorcycles over the years but now find the shiftless convenience in traffic a boon. There's a wee bit of sacrifice in performance but it's not really much, a SW will say up with most any normal bike rider, it's plenty fast on the highway. Not to mention if you need it to stay on two wheels it's a godsend. |

| Hi Ivan BS (No, that doesn't look right)... Hi Ivan balding slowly, You don't say if you've already got a Swing or not. If you have, then you'll already know that it is quick enough to laugh at cars and surprises most "sports" bike owners. If you haven't got one, then the recent automatic DCT bikes from Honda are superb... if you can manage to get a leg over a normal seat that is. I haven't had a leg over for 13 yrs, but that's another story. |

| Welcome Ivan to the best SWing site on the net. I've had my 08 SWing for 3 seasons now and really like it. |

| Hello from the Pacific Northwest. Up here in the wet corner. Hair challenged too.
Automatic transmission is a choice here. Not a burden for me. |

| Hi Ivan and welcome to the forum from Essex. It's good to hear that the Silverwing is keeping you on two wheels. I've ridden many geared bikes in the past but switched to automatics a few years back and not regretted it (but then I am lazy ). |
