Joined this forum as I am planning on purchasing Silverwing in the next couple of weeks. Found a couple that I am checking out. I've been lurking here for a few days. Nice forum. Still learning my way around.
Right now I tour on a 2009 Kymco Xciting 500 with a few custom touches. I think there's a pic attached here.

Welcome bongoman! You won't regret buying the Silverwing, it's one fine ride. About as reliable as a machine can get, considerably more reliable than its rider.

Hey Bongoman, I live in SA also on the NW side of town. I do alot of breakfast rides in the hill country (retired so time is not a factor). I have a 2011 Silverwing..............my other rides are: NM4, XSR900, FJ-09, FJR1300, DL650 and 1975 CB750 cafe racer. Welcome to the jungle.

Welcome bongoman, I'm up the road about 130 miles in Garwood, Tx I have a 2012 SW ABS with less than 10k miles I don't ride much, but I owe Honda nearly 4500, so I'd have to get that for it, you can probably find one cheaper, closer

Welcome to the forum. You can't go wrong with a Silver Wing. Honda calls it a "touring scooter" and that is what I use mine for!!! Lots of trips of from 1000-2000 miles. Awesome scoot.

Appreciate all the well wishes and good vibes. I took one for a test ride yesterday and it was smooth. I have just about decided to part with my 09 Xciting 500 and sit myself down on a 2012 Silverwing for a bunch of miles. So far have not figured out how to post a pic. Got a short Youtube here
