| Hang the errant son upside down. Shake vigorously until money falls out. Collect money and head to the pub. Chances are the scoot will be ok when it dries out. |

| When the indicator lights for 1.3 seconds it's equivalent to 10 blinks. So a long blink of 1.3 seconds and two blinks (0.5 seconds X 2) equals 12 blinks. The engine does not start and you have 12 blinks, so the cause is (1) loose or poor contact on No.1 injector connector, (2) open or short circuit on No.1 injector wire, or (3) faulty No.1 injector.
So that's where the water is causing problems. |

| Pressure wash is really not the way to go! The Swing is designed to operate in all weather conditions but pressure wash surpasses all weather conditions. Your automobile will do the same if pressure washed because the water if "forced" into places it normally would not go. If you let it sit and dry our it will probably be fine. Hope you learned a valuable lesson! |

| +1 to what steveh8o advised.
You can expect the wheel bearings to be giving up the ghost soon too. No doubt your Mr Numpty did a stellar job of pressure washing that unsightly brake dust & grit off the front wheel too which forced enough water past the bearing seals to create a problem.

Isn't this the same son who damaged your Silver Wing after you loaned it to him after he wrecked his bike? Far be it for me to give parenting advice, but speaking for myself I never loan my bikes to anybody, much less someone with that kind of track record. Family, or not. [EDIT: Especially not to Family!] Glad to hear your bike issues are resolved! |

| As someone stated above watch the front wheel bearing I had one fail in less than 20 miles from when rusty sludge started appearing after a wash. So if he has jet washed it you wont get much warning and it ended up costing me a new front wheel as the old bearing collapsed and took so much of the mount that the bearing race went live. |
