I recently posted about front brake light switches failing, changed mine for the MOT and this week I noticed it wasnt working again so ordered another. Swapped it today and still not working, didnt have time or inclination to drag a meter out and check wiring but wondered if anyone else has seen this before ? Had just finished swapping a headlamp on my 08 megane so wasnt in the mood for deep investigation when im not using it much at the moment.

Just curious, but did you try shorting the brake light switch wires to determine that the switch was faulty? I managed to miss the switch terminal entirely by "reattaching" the switch wire harness between the wire-end terminal and the insulation cover when I replaced a brake switch.
Honda has legendary quality control. So the odds of a new switch being faulty are pretty slim.

Last time I was touring Scotland my friend said I had no brake lights, front or back, both switches were faulty, they are not good quality. Two failing at about the same time is unusual , although it was being used after a long layoff.

Those switches must never be greased, otherwise under cold or humidity tend to stick
