| Hi everyone,
Hope you’re all safe and well.
I’ve just discovered on the way home from work that my brake light isn’t working as it should. The brake light appears to be constantly on. I’ve checked the switches on the levers, they seem to be switching fine, can’t work out why the light would be on all the time?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Cheers!

| Sounds like a bad brake switch sticking. Very small switches under lever area. Try pulling one connector of each side till problem is found. Left side has two switches but one is the starter limit switch more under bar and a bit larger.
AS stated above short is very possible also. |

That reply reminded me of my mate who had the same problem on his Silverwing a while back, yes it turned out to be those "2 small switches", problem was fixed. |

| Or you might check out the two rear 12v 21/5w bulbs, they're dual filament and you could have a blown filament on one or both of them. |

| Appreciate the input guys.
I think it was the rear brake light switch! Again. Second one in 6 months. I’ll be fitting the new one tomorrow so I’ll know for sure then but having removed the old one and tested with a meter, it isn’t switching properly. |

| To start my swing on a trip I had to use a fuse to jumper the brake switch on the left side. |
