| For those of you who really would rather own an old Swing than a new anything else. |

| I rode an 09 Majesty 400 prior to the first 04 Swing. It was quieter than 04 Swing & present 06 abs Swing. Single cyl Yamaha 400 with less miles was quieter but 600 has more power. Like comparing grapes to cherries both are good just the taste is different. 20K /400 maj compared to 43k/600 swing. New to new i'd still prefer the swing. Both are equal in Quality but 600 more power.... |

| I got my first Silver wing in 2010. It was an A7 first reg in 2007 so three years old when I got it, it had 1300 ml on it. When I traded it in for a new Silver wing in 2014 it had 40000mls on it I now have 38500 mls on my 2014 bike. I recently bought a Cruisym300, as a second bike. and to keep the mileage down on the Silver wing. |

| This is my first. And, depending on who croaks first I'll probably get another one. It's only got just over 30,000 miles on it so it should last for a few more years. Hopefully I do too. |

| Two new ones, 09 and leftover 2013----rode them 90,000 miles---no major troubles, changed belts at 15,000 miles with OEM belt, I am getting older, 79, SilverWing got too heavy for my likes---no SilverWing current but have 2017 Honda CB300F, which works just fine...until next year, easier to handle at low speed than SilverWing, and cheaper, $4000 for mine in GA SilverWing good bike, but getting a little dated. |

| My first Swing. I always loved scooters, but since my first scooter, a Cushman Eagle at age 16, I have leapfrogged with motorcycles and bicycles until landing again to a clutch-less twist-and-go Swing. Will be hard to go back to the shifting MCs, especially with the hard-to-beat reliability and comfort of the Swing.
Although Honda is no longer making the Swing, they are at least in the forefront with auto-trans (DCT) bikes. Keep 'em coming, Honda. |

| I owned a 05 then traded it for a 07. Sold the 07 in 2014. Bought the '13 in 2017 and traded a CTX for '12. Currently have both the '12 and the '13 |

| My answer is three. In Hawaii, I started with a 2002 Swing in 2012. Sold it in 2014 when I got a new 2013 Swing. After investing in a house in Idaho in 2017, I purchased a 2004 Swing with a Voyager trike kit. Only my 2013 has ABS and the O2 sensor. |

| Three: I bought the first new in Belgium in 2009 and sold it over there when I moved back to the UK - false move! (The Winged Express)
I bought the second from a friend here when I got back; she had decided it was too much for her. Apart from the fact it was newer it was identical to the first. (The Stone Lion)
I bought the third from another member here who decided to stop riding; it was just three years old and had ridiculously low mileage. The only difference from the others was that it is black. (The Crowman)
I sold the second to a member here; he's cherished it and it is going very well, I'm happy to say. |

| The results confirm my suspicions.....I wonder how many models of bike carry this kind of support? I suspect Burgman lovers will insist they do! But at that price, I don't think so. Maybe the Twister? Can anybody think of another bike where people have replaced with the same model over and over? I mean......more than 3?? Wow! |

| No, not without considering brand-loyalty folks, e.g. Harley, BMW, Yamaha, Vespa, Lambretta, etc. Or bikes with a "cult" status, such as Moto Guzzi or Honda's PC 800. |

| Aren't a lot of these Silver Wing repeat buys simply down to Honda not replacing the ageing FJS/FSC model with the updated SW-T Silver Wing in both the US and UK, the two countries where the vast majority of forum members are from.
Some buyers may have owned early non ABS equipped models, then bought a later model with ABS and better fuel efficiency, or was better equipped, or simply in another colour.

| I bought my 2012 BRAND NEW the 2nd bike in all the years I bought new (and I paid dearly as market had not crapped out yet). Previous to the SWing the most miles I put on a bike was a 1969 CB750, commuted over 150 miles a day for 6 months on it. The CB was great but handling was never the best, but a nearly bullet-proof ride. However my Silver Wing is nearly as fast and smoother and quieter and a joy to ride around town or on the super slab... Since I can't replace it will just run the wheels off, I guess. Of course it may out-live me!!! LOL |

| 1, and done most likely not because I can't get another but simply because of how much I ride. But I've put as many miles on it as the previous owners did At first I thought what have I done???? now I say why didn't I do it sooner. |
