| Well I went on a 75 mile tour of the county to see how she handled my riding style and loved every minute. I left my wallet in the glove box, went to get it and noticed a puddle of oil toward the middle of the bike. A couple of drops coming from what look like overflow tubes toward the rear tire as well. Oil was low. Removed right side floor panel and looks like oil there. Weird. I know it sounds crazy but I'm wondering if this was where the previous owner spilled oil? Guess I gotta get in there. Damn plastic panels! |

| You might want to pull the right side panel and check the air filter & plenum box for oil accumulation.

Tip of the day: That 3rd rear panel screw is set at a steep angle. Best to use a long (10-12") phillips head and come in from down near the license plate reflector. Kinda hard to explain, but...
As unimaginable as it seems, yes, there really are 12 or 13 screws on that air filter cover. |
