| Read a post today on forum regarding the HISS system, I have 2 keys. Have done as described in the owners manual on how to turn on HISS to blink for 24hrs (or when you start bike next morning).....Key in ignition, turn on, press right hand small button on dash for over 2 seconds, and light should blink, then then turn off ignition and it will blink for approx 24hrs. Mine don't blink, tried with both keys Kev |

| You missed out step No. 2, below, from the manual:
1. Turn IGNITION ON 2. Have the ODOMETER DISPLAYED 3. Press RESET BUTTON (right hand one) for MORE THAN 2 SECONDS 4. Immobiliser indicator will BLINK ONCE 5. Turn IGNITION OFF. 6. When key removed immobiliser indicator will blink for 24 hours.
I haven't tried it, but the instructions imply it will not work if you have either of the trip meters displayed instead of the odometer (total miles counter). |
