| Santa's getting more seat time than me. Older Christmas card is nice.

| Weather might be a bit warmer on the 24th 50° F up here might be a good 100 miles or so. It's been cold lately a bit of snow too. 2 more days and sunlight starts returning to the north. |

| Thanks, Mech, for that bit of optimism of days starting to get longer soon. We need that rare positive attitude of thinking for this dark, cold time of year. Winter Solstice. Here comes the sun. |

| Winter should be 4 letter word but changing of seasons is nice. I have some photos from Rockville bridge 5 years ago big ice on the river. North end of river road has a short tunnel under RT 11-15 and the tracks. Marysville . I'm sure you've been there. Trains are slow across the bridge . This is summer photo from Allentown contrails...………. New computer still haven't downloaded them. |

| Yes, we know it will be a cold winter if ice forms on the Susquehanna and how long the ice holds.
The Rockville Bridge is supposed to be the longest stone arch bridge in the world. That tunnel that you mention is near the entrance of the Roberts Valley Road and a mile up the side of the mountain to the Harrisburg Archery Club, where I visit once or twice a week, and that twisty, sloppy road is where I had one of my bad downhill spills (former BMW F800ST) slipping on a combination of old, wet leaves and mud. I still ride the Swing up and down that road--with a lot more caution.

| We have some of those roads here too bikehiker, Tar Hollow park has more than the norm, both unpaved and what they call paved. That downhill deal is way more spooky then the uphill, gravity is a mean teacher and once you stray you pay. |
