| Morning all, I just bought myself a 2001 Silverwing as a bit of a do-up project, and just waiting for it to be shipped to me. 70,000km, Has a bit of light road rash and has been unloved for a few years so will be looking to do some cheap repairs, a big clean-up and giving it a good service. I have been riding motorcycles for 38 years and currently also own a VTR1000F, ST1300 and a Vespa 150 Sprint on which I popped my scooter cherry, but which will be moving on to make room for the Swing. |

| I popped my scooter cherry, but which will be moving on to make room for the Swing. AHHH those bikes are much slower than a SW . Nothing like that 1L + engine power and torque. 2003 FZ-1 11K miles sold. 2005 FJR1300 47k miles and runs like new. Much good info. here and not a lot of Bull S--- like many places. Enjoy new Bike. Buy a service manual or download it makes it so much easier to work on. U-tube will only get so far. Welcome. |
