| Hello Silverwing owners. I have recently purchased a 2007 Silverwing and I am looking forwards to touring on it once Covid restrictions get relaxed. This is the second SWing I have owned in recent years. I sold my last one, also a 2007 model in 2018 and went back to a motorcycle a Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer with DCT box. Excellent motorcycle for touring and I did a Europe tour on it and the North 500 up in Scotland. Because of Covid and lack of riding opportunities I reluctantly sold the bike. Within a week of selling it I missed being on two wheels so I scoured the online selling sites for a SWing. I found a decent one within my price range down in Worcester which is approx 1 hour 30 mins ride from here. It’s a standard one with the big Honda top box on it. I have just had two new Bridgestone Hoops fitted to it so it is now ready to tour. I know these scoots are perfect for touring as I rode from Spain all the way up through France on my last one and it didn’t miss a beat and kept up with my mates on BMW GS’s and Triumph Tigers. Over my lifetime I have had lots of bikes, mainly Honda’s because I trust the brand. However now have bought this 14 year old beauty I think I will be riding Silverwings from now on. Not as much power as my previous bike but all the power I need for touring and ample storage space and comfort. I just love riding now with my feet high up on the boards on this wonderful machine! |

Yes we do Steve, however many of our roads are currently riddled with potholes making riding after dark a dangerous pastime. |

| Two years ago I had a very pleasant weekend in the area with the X9OC; it was my first visit to Ironbridge. Lovely! |

| Mike, perhaps we should grab a couple of bags of pothole repair and have a ride down to see James |

Where are you based? |

I bought a towbar and a super lightweight trailer for the Vara years ago, and had a fantasy that Herself might come camping or touring with me. Much like my big Premium Bond win.... it never happened! |
