| Anyone know where to get (used) body parts for the Swing? I'm looking for both right and left floor skirts. Seems kinda foolish to buy new parts even if they were available. |

| There’s a motorcycle salvage yard in Huron Ohio where you might find something. Sorry, I don’t know the name but I’m sure you can find out with a little effort. There are probably others around too.
Best bet would be to get yourself some Plast-aid to repair those broken panels and tabs, aaand give some thought to repainting those skirts with a rattle can of truck bed liner.

| I've tried repairing body parts on my GoldWing,... wasn't very good at it. I wouldn't mind using 'used parts' and covering them with truck bed-liner either. New would run about $120 which isn't too bad either... (plus shipping,... plus tax,... plus, plus, plus) |

| There is a place in FL that sells used MC parts. I believe it's called Bike Strippers. I've only purchased one used piece from them but it was a smooth transaction and fair price. I think they also may be on eBay.com |

| Well finding a used floor skirts without damage will be difficult, 1st thing to hit ground, cracks are hard to repair right, repaint, etc. I have the knowledge/skills to repair, but not the right equipment or place to repaint, IAC got several quotes to repair/paint my black skirts, $150-200 and a week wait !!, on a whin checked my "Go-To" OEM parts supplier, aprox $120 for both new skirts with free shipping !!, no brainer(took several weeks due to covid backorders, etc). Meet their minimun for free shipping($129) and call/email before placing a body panel order for availability. I've found that SW OEM parts in general are cheap, compared to other scooters.
Check "ronayers.com" , BTW their customer service and communication is excellent, also best OEM parts prices IME. |

Error is such a negative word, " Learning Experience" sounds better If you create an account with Ron Ayers you can see oder history, etc. If your parts don't reach minimum for free shipping, just buy a oil filters, spark plugs, etc. or something you may need. BTW what color is your SW ??, Just a PSA all black parts from different years match real well. Gives you more options. |

I've had lot of those in the last 77years. I did create an account with Ron Ayers and made an order but didn't complete it. I'll wait til Monday morning when I can call and make sure I can cancel my order with the other place. While I may not be ready for new brake pads at the moment, they are a 'wear item' that I'll eventually need so included them with the order to get to total up to where I can get the FREE SHIPPING. The Dr Pulley's I ordered were back-ordered and they gave me the opportunity to cancel if I wanted to, so I did. Ordering direct from Dr Pulley, they were a few bucks more but with shipping they were $18 more but they appear to be 'in-stock'. When I went to check out they wouldn't accept my CC. I have to call them on Monday to see what the problem is. Every place else I looked, they were out-of-stock. If Dr Pulley has them I don't mind paying the few bucks more to not have to tear into it again after just replacing the belt. We'll see what happens. |

Is Dr Pulley an 'over-seas' supplier? German company. Dr Pulley make Dr Pulley sliders. Buy direct from them. |

| No, no!
While there is a company in Germany which is a distributor of Dr Pulley stuff, Dr Pulley (Union Material) is actually a Taiwan company. I’ve had direct dealings with Dr Pulley on a couple of occasions. Top quality products. |
