| Hey folks,
Should I run fuchs silkolene pro4 fully synthetic or should I run motorex top speed semi synthetic? I have both oils in my garage. Would be nice if I could use one of them. What kind of oil do you run on?
Best regards, Anders |

| What the book recommends, brand wise Castrol and Valvoline are two I use most. As far as blends go what is the " blend " percentage, nothing on a jug ever gave me that info and as far as I know no industry standard for that. If you want a blend by 2 jugs and mix them at least that way you will know. |

| Either one will work fine. The main difference with full synthetic is longer change intervals... If you are a rigid (change every 3000 miles) person than use the blend. |

| I've been running on Mobile 1 FS 0w40 for the last 2 years. Car oil. No wet clutch on SW. Full SNY. oil more like a 10W30 at at normal riding temperatures. Has a higher Zink level than most car oils not not so expensive like motorcycle oil. $25 for 5 Qts. Silkolene is one of the best oils out there either one is fine. |

| Thank you so much for your replyes, really nice to hear from other SW riders. Its a shame theres only 2 or 3 silverwings in Denmark. Yesterday evening I went trough all my oil in the garage and I discovered I have a silkolene comp semi 10w40 on the shell as well. Think im gonna use that one |

| I run Rotella T-6 in my Goldwing so I used it in my Silverwing at 5K. Good luck. D |

My Goldwing absolutely loved Rotella T-5 which is 10W30 synthetic blend. Engine was quieter, shifted better and fairly cheap as well. I have used the T-6 in many applications also, since it is a "diesel" oil; Rotella is fine for motorcycles. And yes, has a higher zink content than most auto oils. |
