Another Aussie newbie ..

Greetings from another rider from Australia. (Brisbane)
I picked up my ‘06 Silver Wing a couple of days ago ..
Although having been a Triumph devotee most of my life, after spinal surgery that left me with some nerve damage and a condition called CRPS, due to weakened muscles and joints in my legs, riding a big top heavy bike was no longer a comfortable proposition.
So I set off to find a ride with a low Centre of gravity and a sit up configuration.
I tried a few alternatives, none of which really worked for me.
Then I stumbled across this used silver ‘swing’ in great condition and at a good price.
Once I got used to doing nothing with my feet, (I’ve never experienced an automatic bike before now), I’m just loving this bike, it suits my needs and comfort requirements right down to the ground !
At a time when I thought my riding days were over, I’ve now got a ride that should keep me going for a few more years to come.
Has left me with a new lease on life, and a huge smile on my face .. Happy Days !

I'd like to know how many Silverwings there are in Oz. Somehow I thought these are rare beasties down under. Hopefully it's not the same few passing thru new hands. Nevertheless it's nice to have you here.

Try to find the workshop manual if you're handy with maintaining your SW. The manuals will be your best friend. And here you can always ask anything about the SW.
