| Fitted LED bulbs to front indicators. Now have the 'hyper' flash issue.
Doing a bit of searching there seems to be 2 ways of rectifying. A resistor in parallel or replace flasher relay with a LED compatible one. I prefer the replacement of the relay option.
Anybody done this? Is the relay under the front fairing? I would like to pre-purchase a relay and need to confirm connection type. I see 2 pin and 3 pin relays.
Any suggestions appreciated. |

| I researched this in the past- I may be wrong, but it looks like the relay is soldered to the board and not a simple plug and play type (like in the older Honda bikes)- another option (that I selected) is to use LEDs with the resistor built in so you don’t get hyper flash. They are 1156 type- I’ll edit this post if I can find what I used.
Here they are:

I really wanted switchbacks so they’re white when not in use as indicators but yellow when you hit the switch- the issue is that they are 1156 bulbs so 1 contact only vs an 1157 that has 2 (even as yellow, they're still pretty bright)- there’s likely a way to wire it to work but I wouldn’t know how to do that. |

| There is a workaround for bypassing the embedded turn signal flasher and replacing it with an electronic flasher relay. But your LED bulbs at ~$23 ; pair would be a lot easier than adapting a flasher relay to the front wire harness. |

Thanks, I've found them on the Amazon UK site. Be easier than messing with the relay. Either way fairing off again |
