| I'm going to install Race Tech gold valves in the next month and have to disassemble everything. Want to replace seals and dust boots but am lacking the proper seal driver any methods on driving them back in? PCV pipe or other method that works well?
Fork tube 41 mm outer seal diameter 53 mm 2-inch PCV is just a bit smaller seal is 2 1/8.
2013 SW and 33K miles fork oil changed to 15W Torco oil with Hyper Pro springs at present but still don't like the stiff hit on sharp bumps. |

| It’s been quite awhile but IIRC I used a 2 1/2” 2 inch dia section of PVC as a driver. The PVC had two length wise cuts several inches long. The cuts allowed the PVC pipe to squeeze down along side of the fork tube.
I hope I’m remembering correctly and that this makes sense.

| After a little more searching pipe is measured by inside Dia. and 2 inch OD is around 60MM. Slotting that size pipe will be much closer and should work. Waiting on seals etc. then I'll know.
Nice weather today here in Eastern PA. today 65F Rode about 70 miles back roads Lehigh, Berks county roads are good thanks to very little snowfall and those annoying traction robbing cinders.

| Thanks for your update Mech. I stand corrected. 2 inch diameter PVC it was. |

| I think I used the old seals and a rubber mallett to install mine. It worked fine. I was able to get the new seals started 'by hand' and then slide the old seals on top and tap them in whilst making sure they stayed 'square'. |
