New Swing owner

Howdy y'all from NC. I'm Frenchy, just bought a 2005 Swing and am truly impressed. For what it's worth, I owned a 1982 Silverwing back when they were a mini-Goldwing. Since then I've owned 5 Goldwings. ( I currently have one for sale) Looking forward to learning from this forum.

Hi Frenchy, welcome to the Forum. I'm glad you're finding the 'new' Silverwing to your liking. The GL model was a very different beast. I had a CX650 ED and loved it. Always envied the the look of the GL.

Now you're dealing CVT and belt drives etc. You sound like a 'low rider' (no Harley pun intended), everything you need to know about the SW is hidden in the bowels of this forum somewhere. Just about everything that can happen with the SW has happened here.

Congrats nice to see someone close to my neck of the woods. I had looked for a month or two for my swing glad I did. I was obsessed with the Suzuki burgmans but someone showed me the light and I got a swing.
