| I have tried all web sites I can find to purchase the 26mm sliders with no luck. The Dr Pulley site allows to purchase the 28mm. Does anyone have a set of 26 or 24 mm' s for sale?

| Hi arboroaks.
This is the link I always use for Dr.Pulley. Don't forget to save the link in your browser! Silverwings use 28mm sliders, it's the weights that vary, the lighter the faster it will accelerate. Once you access the web page, just below the payment method are two drop down menus, select the slider weight you require. Then select the colour, Classic is white, euro is black. Takes about a week to the UK, as a guide.
If the 26mm is for another make of bike/scooter use the customer enquiry link to ask if they can make them, stating, make, model and weight required. Always found them very helpful. https://drpulley.co/product/sliding-roller-weight-28x20-8/
Hope this helps.

| OK, Below is what I have in the cart. Is this the 26mm that seems to be the most popular on the forum or is it the 28mm

| Hi arboroaks
I think your problem was you had confused the Slider diameters (28mm) with the weights available (28/26/25/24gs)
Your order page read-out is correct if you require 26gm Sliders for a Silverwing 400/600.
How ever, as I have stated on several posts regarding modifying the drive train to increase acceleration rates, the better bang for your buck is to replace the driven plate clutch spring with a "Malossi White Spring"(less than 1/2 the cost of Sliders)+(it also reduces belt slip and slapping).
With that said, if you only have OEM rollers fitted, the addition of 26gm Sliders along with the spring will give you a higher top end speed @ lower RPM for Highway cruising and better fuel economy and still be able to gap sports bikes in the traffic lights grand-pre up to 60 mph.(I use 24gm sliders) Food for thought! You will get a lot of "WT?? have you got under there mate!"
Hope this helps.

| Ok I ordered the 26 gram sliders This Monday and received yesterday. They must have a U.S. source for me to get them that quick. Installed them today and drove approx. 10 miles . The scooter seems to be smoother and quicker from a dead stop. May be just me no evidence.
Plan on riding the "Snake" tomorrow which is a mountain ride from Mountain City Tennessee to Brisrol Tennessee it has lots of twisties and switch backs.
Should be a great ride.
Thanks for all the help
