| Leaving today to go to mother-in-laws for visit. She lives about an hour away from Texarkana where I am picking up my 05 Silverwing on Saturday. Jack, the fellow I am buying it from graciously offered to drive it from Dallas to Texarkana to save me some time. I think he just hates to get rid of it. Did I mention that it only had 327 miles on it. I really think he is just part of the family of folks that own and ride Silverwings. Look around this forum and find an ass hole... there aren't any. Some of us have one, but none of us are one. It is early and I haven't had my coffee. I apologize for using "hole" in this post. I will go back later and remove it. Will be away from the computer for the weekend, but I will post some early pictures when I get back home. |

| Exciting!
Have a good trip and take care!
As for the 'rude' words; my grandfather, a respectable man and Methodist to boot, often used the expression 'silly arse' to describe certain people when appropriate. It wasn't considered out-of-order then. Why should it be now?

| Gary, Congrats on your new SWing. Being an ex-Marine I have never heard "swear" words before so I have no idea what you said. Now if you would have said something like "gosh darn-it" then I'm sure Dennis would have banned you before you stopped typing. |

| first time is always the hardest. It will get easier the more you ride, just watch out for the cars, they sure don't watch out for you. When you get home give me a call and me and my wife will come look and show you mine. I;d like to see it before you change it to a three wheels. |

| Gary, Nice looking SWing and I bet you get great gas mileage driving it around on the back of that trailer. Congrats on your new SWing and can't wait to see what it looks like as a trike. |

| Sitting on that trailer it looks a bit like a Harley.
I like the silver floor skirts, may have to order 2 sets and do that to our bikes.
Congratulations. |

| Thanks guys... I hadn't even noticed the silver skirt... my eyes are still squinting from the sever case of the grins I have. I went back out and looked, dang... that is sharp. Got the license today. Just fixing to call the seat people, then take the scoot to the paint shop in Fordyce to check on possibility of painting scratched panels while he is painting the fenders later.
Gonna be a busy good day. |
