Picking up my Swing Empty
PostSubject: Picking up my Swing   Picking up my Swing I_icon_minitimeWed Nov 07, 2012 7:06 am

Becoming a xspert at lifting my Swing solo. The first time I let it down on a peace of carpet in the garage to get the of the feel of the weight of it. I am 5 ft 3" 230 pounds, bilt lick a brick s**t house and short legs, with 2 knee replacement and 2 detach tendant in my left sholder . Fist , put on parking brake ,grab hand rail and handle bar, lift up high ,brace knee on the side for support then straighten swing, put side stan. On the right side drop the side stan, put parking brake on and lift . Smile

Good plan, checking out how to upright a bike in privacy is a great idea. I learned the hard way how to upright my Goldwing (now sold) and tried it on the SW too. Nice not to have to fumble around or ask a bystander for help when it happens.
