| For those of us that listen to music while touring -- what reflects your riding style?
Since we have a very diverse group by age, location and gender, I thought it would be interesting to hear what we listen to while riding. Short trips are reserved for the voices in my head.
Here’s my vote, starts slow and deliberate and builds to a steady driving rhythm.

Then there are times the road is just not long enough………….

| Whatever's playing on Pandora on my Samantha James station. I end up with a lot of soulful house music, and also a lot of Swing Out Sister and Shakatak, two of my all time favorite bands. If I use my MP3s in my Garmin, there's a lot of jazz, but every now and then George Thorogood will have to be belting out Bad to the Bone and I'll suddenly be scootin' a bit faster. |

| Queen and Abba mostly and Steeleye Span for a change. The first two are not my choice of listening at other times - they are so familiar I don't need to think about them when I'm riding. |

| I don't generally ride with music, but if I do this is the type for me. Makes the smile grow.

| MaxB, It sounds like you can carry a tune. Sometimes on longer striches of highway I sing out loud to myself. It's kinda funny when a car comes up along side me when I'm singing. They all look over and I wave at them and they wave back. They must think I'm crazy. Thank GOD for windsheilds! |

| If I set out on a long ride, I'll setup a few playlists. This way I can choose, Harder rock at night for when I would normally be less alert. I stay away from long songs like "Freebird" because they can get monotonous. Also stay away from spoken word programs I have to concentrate on to understand. Classic driving music for when I first start out each day. Music appropriate for where I am, i.e. songs about Tennessee while riding thru Tenessee. etc. |
