12,000 KM Service

Just had my 12,000 KM service done:

Oil, filter, plugs and labour - €79,57 + €16,71 tax

Total - €96,28/£82.15/$128.92

Not a bad cost and worth it. I see that labour is included so I guess you had it done at a shop. - THE HORROR -

Actually time has value and I have precious little free time, so I take mine to a shop for oil changes and other services as well.

Yes, Dale. Grovelling-on-the-garage-floor days are long gone!

I vowed that when I was able to afford to have work done professionally, I would.
I'd have to go to the dealer to get the parts anyway and I'd rather have someone else be responsible if anything goes wrong.

My mates and I used to do everything on our cars in days gone by, even down to complete engine and gearbox rebuilds but it's all too techical these days.
Perhaps if I had a bike-lift I'd change oil and filters.
