| Is this what the original was trying to say? Last group should not include the word "stock" |

| Impressive figures, but how were you able to add weight to the OEM rollers? |

When I ordered the HIT clutch from Paul Wu, he gave me 28 gram and 31 gram Dr Pulley Sliders. Dr Pulley just slide in a different sized metal ring inside the slider which you could visually see when comparing the two. So Dr Pulley has the ability to provide other sized weights. I would suggest contacting Paul Wu at Dr Pulley ( paul@unionmaterial.com ). I have running with 31 gram Dr Pulley Sliders for awhile. |

| This chart seems pretty spot on for me, at least MPG wise. I have 26g Sliders and if I run 70mph (GPS), I get about 43-45mpg using a stock shield and with my tubby butt and bags on the Swing. |

| This chart confirms what I have always assumed to be true... all else being equal (same bike, same rider, same fuel and terrain), the higher the RPM, the poorer the MPG. |

Love that observation - So true, and the delivery was flawless. |

I would suggest contacting Paul Wu at Dr Pulley Bill Paul Wu said that you can suspend the Sliders/Rollers in boiling water for ~ 1/2 hour which will then allow the weight to be removed easily. That said, I'd still like to hear from eddieg 1 how he increased the weight of the original rollers. Tim |

| I can see it now: someone removes the weights from all the sliders and tries running the bike on about 10g of plastic and does a wheelie out the gate. |

Or the other extreme: Someone adds a bunch of weight to trying running on like 40g and gets 60 mpg on the highway |

Last group should not include the word "stock" yes,you sure done it better i got some brass bushings at hardware store.-1- 1/2" cut them in half, used epoxy to hold them inside rollers. to much time thinking huh, ha/ha ed.g |

I would think that weight would need to be distributed as symmetrically/evenly as possible, so if you could get 4 smaller pieces around the inside, that might work. Although, I'd be worried that if one came unstuck it could get caught somewhere it shouldn't and damage something. Maybe rough up the inside and then melt the lead into the center? (might have to temporarily put something in the other end so it would end up in the center of the roller). But I guess one could get a similar result more easily by just pouring a pre-weighted amount of epoxy in there, so never mind... |
