"Dark Side" Huh?

First topic message reminder :

Car tyre on a scooter (or motorcycle) why is it called "Dark Side"?

My two pence (nod across the pond) - It is merely a "Granfalloon" and an attempt to make it seem cooler than it would otherwise.

Granfalloon - see "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut for clarity.

My friend from a different forum races bikes. DooKoo and his friend are both on Goldwings with a car tire on the back. He has a camera mounted on the side of his bike.

I wish you wouldn't; people can read all the previous posts about using car tyres on bikes so your latest post serves only to prolong the conflict.....and if you haven't proved your point after all this time, no amount of 'persuading' will make the slightest difference.

For those of us that do 'not' have a choice due to our countries laws find this lingering death fatiguing at best!

What happened to the post I made ref: July 12 issue of RIDER magazine, car tire on Bikes story. Looks like somebody in "power"took it away......because they like car tires on bikes? Think it is worth a read.

John, I venture to suggest that as there are so many threads on the subject, finding a particular post in them is like looking for a needle in a haystack with even less chance of success.

A car tire on a 2 wheeled vehicle is unsafe.
If it were safe, it would not be banned in some countries on this planet. Case closed.

I posted it as it is a friend of mine who posted the video on You tube. It is pertains to this particular thread.

Yea... not to cause you any grief. It is pertaining to the OP. You have interest in this subject matter, otherwise you wouldn't be in on this thread.

We can agree to disagree, yes or no? Because I have a different opinion than you doesn't mean that I don't like you. I happen to enjoy your comments.
