Hiya, Name is Mike, reach 60 this year and live in Glorious West Wales in the county of Pembrokeshire . Have a 2001 Wing with just 24,000 miles on the clock, which I use not as frequently as I would like but tend to get over to the continent at least once a year with a few buddies.
Am a member of various maxi-scoot forums including www.maxi-muppets.co.uk
Have set up a forum in UK ,which I also host on my own server ... for mainly touring www.maxi-touring.co.uk and a personal website www.maxi-scooters.co.uk

Mike,
Welcome to the forum, enjoy. There is a potential ride forming among some of the Brits over in the Miles Per Gallon thread.

Hi again all.
Have just returned from a 6 day trip to Scotland where I covered over 1500 miles with 4 other members of the www.maxi-touring.co.uk forum . Some great scenery and riding roads well worth the trip.Did start to take mileage / petrol consumption but frequent stops in the rain soon put paid to that..

Very nice. I like the dinnerware shot, gives new meaning to a term I used to shout to my troops "shovel it in we don't have all day!" Other than a bit of dampness looks like y'all had a great time. Way to represent the SilverWing community.

Cool vids and pics. Where/how did you mount the vidcam on your scoot?

I have started using an Archos 604 with archos webcam which is good for about 1 hour of vid at a time. The low down shots were taken with the cam mounted on the RH fairing with rubber sucker mount...
I also use a cheapie HD cam i got at Aldis for rear shots but have yet to perfect the technique as last two time have not set camera quite right.
I also have a Divx recorder and 80gb disk with a bullet cam which i used in Germany last year, only thing is it is hard disk and can reset due to vibration..this was taken with the camera..
The following was taken with a cheap £20 cam from eBay but it fell off the bike this year

Welcome to the site! Thanks for sharing the videos. Nicely done. Ok, I am sufficiently curious about the Falkirk Wheel (sp?). I will look it up as you tweeked my interest. Just an old geek at heart. I hope you enjoy the info and the folks here.
