| Have had my Silverwing for about 6 months now and its the best scooter (my third) that I have owned, its so snazzy. I am taking the Advanced rider course training which is proving to be so very challanging but will be worthwhile when passed. Have done over 4,000 miles and every one has been very pleasurable in all sorts of wheather. We are planning a short journey to France for about four days in the spring, which should be fun as they drive on right and hardly ever sober! |

| Hello, Duke!
You probably know that the French, although they drive like maniacs, are far more biker-friendly than the British. It's much the same here in Belgium and I've got used to the tail-gating and cutting in, knowing that people are not trying to drive me off the road. |

| Duke, Welcome to the site and I'm glad you are enjoying your SWing. It is a very nice bike and comfortable too. What other scoots have you had? There are lots of very knowledgeable folks here so if you have a problem just ask away. And if I give advice...just to the opposite. |

| Hello Duke1,
Welcome to the forum.
France is a great place to ride. I'll be there again for a weekend in March with some fellow members of the 'Ugly Bunch' from Maxi-Muppets. Check out their website.
Cheers, |

| Hello Duke,
Yes, the French and Belgian people are very odd. When you drive sober, they can take your license. Before WW2 the French said : " Tanks are not that important " And they build forts near the border of Germany. The Germans came, and the Belgians sent the bicycle platoons to the border.
It did not work.
