| Greetings all !
I purchased a new left over 2007 Silverwing in December.
So far , I've managed to put 440 miles on it
I'm averaging 43.6 mpg (probably to the cold weather and my letting it idle to warm up before starting off in the mornings)
My previous bikes were an SL350, CB500T, and a CB550k
It's my first scooter and so far so good

| Welcome to Silver Wing Land!
Regards your mpg, I am only getting 45mpg right now, when the weather warms up I tend to average 52/53mpg not much more. (It still beats the car hand over fist.) |

| SurleyBiker: welcome from a relatively new member also. I got my nearly new '05 (2200 mi on it ) last fall and have about 4K on it now. Being a long time former resident of Md, Anne Arundel County, I loved the diversity with the sea, bay, mountians, all easy to reach. Haveing retired and moved back to my home state of NC I miss most of all steamed crabs and crabcakes. You'll find a world of info here on how to maintain your SW.
BTW, where is Md do you live? |

| To answer the Question about where in Maryland, I 'm in Cecil County right on the Delaware/Md line Weather looks good for a ride on Tuesday after two days of sleet, snow, and ice and one day of drizzle and rain. It's going to be in the 50's here Crazy how the temperature can change 30 degrees from one day to the next |
