| A big Hey Y'all! I am Jim B from the Boerne area, I actually live both in Boerne and out in West Texas in Big Spring. I bounce back and forth. Recently brought a 2003 Silverwing to add to my 2 Suzuki Burgmans. The price was right the color wasn't. It came to life red , last owner painted it blue, and now I have turned it YELLOW. Came out very nice. I have owned many motorcycles, but there is something about scooters I just love. Looking forward to reading about everyones scooter experiences. Thanks |

| Welcome from an Arkansas neighbor whose dad was stationed in Big Springs in mid 40s. If I was you, I would send the Texas Rangers after the guy that painted over the red. Have him restore it then paint HIM yellow. |

| Howdy from north Texas. I'm trying to picture the trip from Boerne to Big Spring. That sounds like an interesting trip. |

| Jim B,
Just down the road from you in Universal City. Like you, I've always been on motorcycles and got involved w/ scooters about 6 yrs ago - has turned out to be addictive. Might want to check out the Texas Road Rats on yahoo forum - group of maxi-scooterists here in the San Antonio area.

Bill,
Blackbeard has been out of commission - inner ear problem forced him to give up riding his Burgman about 2 yrs ago. He just bought a 50 cc Ruckus to run around the neighborhood - guess that he can use his boots as outriggers for balance. Had breakfast w/ Myles and his wife and another Road Rat a couple of weeks ago. I just got back w/ the group after buying the Silverwing. Activity w/ them has been slow d/t winter weather. I am hoping to plan a downtown San Antonio ride in the next few weeks to include the Mission Trails w/ a stop for a chicken-fried steak. Myles and Ernie are planning a trip out to Big Bend in a couple of months.
