E4-01 on You Tube

I found this and thought I would post it. I remember seeing this last year and it seems pretty cool. I wonder how much the shield keeps the wind off of the rider though. I bet if this thing comes out it will be nice.

Boy that looks space-aged or something. Looks like it should be in a star trek movie. Who makes that?

Looks like one piece of expensive tupperware to me. I wonder if a person would get the tool kit with it?

That is the dream. The E4-01 is a Honda product and is reported to be a 900cc triple. I have no idea of how the engine is fitted, but it uses the HFT auto transmission used on the DN-01, has a single arm swing arm, dual discs on front, shaft drive, so much to dream about.

The dual (sandwich) design of the short wind screen is (in theory) very functional. It may not be a one-size-fits-all type of solution (like the OEM windscreen of the SilverWing), but does present a sporty solution.

Will it make it into production? I think the sales success of the DN-01 will help Honda in the decision process.
