Old Newbie

Hello to all of you. First time on this forum and hope I will fit in well. Age 77, Cheesehead from Wisconsin. Been riding since age 72. Late starter. Started with Honda 750 Aero then moved up to a Honda ST1300 which was too heavy to feel comfotable on so I was introduced to the Silverwing. After 30,000 miles in bikes in 5 years I found my perfect two-wheeler in the mega-scooter called Silverwing. traded my ST 1300 even up for a new 2010 SW. Really like the new wheels and have lots of questions that I am sure you can help me out with.

A tremendous amount of information can be found by using the search function at the top of the page or by going to the forum page and looking at the different topics. The answers may already be there and there may be answers to questions you didn't know you had. Anyway, welcome to the forum, and enjoy the ride.

Welcome greyfox30, sounds like by trial and error you found the right two wheeler, the Silver Wing was made for us young at heart but physically challenged old timers, enjoy your new ride and Ride Safe.

Thanks for the Welcome from all of you. Did the first mod on my SW which was raising the back rest which I found on this forum the first nite.
