| In the past few months my Honda would refuse to start , but not at every attempt. I would think it needed a charge and found out that did not help.
At times, just leaving it sit and attempting to start it, would be successful. It seems like the side stand has a lot to do with it.
I put a new battery in it and that did not solve a thing. Like I said, sometimes it will start and most times it will not. When I say it will not start, I mean that I do not even get a clicking noise at all,...nothing, no sound.
I hesitate using it when it does start and later miles from home I have the same problem. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Either you're trolling or you just solved your own problem. |

Kasotakid Jack Pearson, Welcome to the forum, but you really should introduce yourself - just good form. You do know that your bike will not start when the side stand is down don't you? There is a lockout switch that prevents the bike from starting when the side stand is down. Kill switch is a commonly overlooked problem. Can inadvertently be set to the no-run position and not noticed. The start button may need to be cleaned. Don't know the age of your bike so not cetain about this. The owner's manual has a short section in the back on trouble shooting... |
