Hello mate .welcome. im from Greece i might be moving down under (Melbourne) soon, with my sw. i do have many greek friends in melbourne, but no one is in to bikes ... so you never know we might be going for sunday rides!!! keep in touch.. . Get the sw ASAP ,it is not a bike it is passion,love,... i would like to ask you , is it common to see bikes and scooters in melbourne??? like you do in greece and italy,? The weather over there is like italy and greece? ,that allows you to use the bike year round?

Melbourne weather.....

4 seasons in any one day. purrrrrfect riding weather. If you dont like one season eg rain, wait a few minutes and it will change. If out Riding ALWAYS ALWAYS take your wet weather gear, ALWAYS!
Melbourne has a very good motorcycle fraternity with many Clubs for almost any taste. When you get out of Melb. there are lots of roads with lots of bendy bits, hills and also The Great Ocean Road (unfortunately over speed regulated these days.)
Everybody has Greek friends in Melbounre as it is the largest "Greek" city in the world after Athens. Suburbs like Fitzroy and Carlton are the home of the Melb Greeks. MMMmmmm Greek food. Nearly as good as the Italian Cuisine. MMMMMmmm
But if you want the best riding weather Perth is the answer. Unfortunately there are not many bendy bits, just looooooooooooooooooooong straights. Perth is famous for its Mediterreanian weather.
