| I am the proud our of a 08 SW that I use for both pleasure and transportation. I want to change my brake lights to LED. I have been reading the posts about how great they are and where to buy, but no one has answer my question about direct replacement or not? Can a fellow rider please set me straight. |

| hello! i was looked at cheapcycleparts.com to use the parts diagram for the bulbs ( http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/model_years/12440-honda-2011-silver-wing-abs-fsc600a/assemblies/241262-taillight-rear-fender ) - looks like the stop/tail bulb has a wedge base (not the old standard bayonet base - like the turn signal bulbs appear to have). not sure why one would want to change to LED (on the chinese scooters it is common practice as the alternators are barely able to keep the battery charged - anything to maximize the current available for charging the battery!). anyway there wasnt enough info on the parts diagram to determine the actual base and thereby find an equivalent base LED bulb for plug and play.
need to know what the bulb designation is is the bulb you want to change a T25 3156 3155 3156A 3157 - if so ebay listed a pair of LED equivalents from China for just under $15
once you know the type bulb just do a ebay search for example type "LED 3155" in the search box.... |

| It is actually easier and somewhat more cost effective to add auxiliary LED brake lights --like HyperLites-- than it will be to change the existing brake light bulbs to LEDs, and then have to deal with adding resistors to the circuit so that the darn things work right.

| Cosmic_Jumper, Checked out Hyperlites web site. I believe this addition will be the best solution. Thanks, Buckwild |

| A few years back i switched my standard tail/brake light bulb on my HD sportster to an led bulb. I or anyone else couldnt see any difference in brightness!! Therefore i have'nt bothered to switch my swings bulbs but instead installed a wigwag. Again just saying!! |

| The only bulbs i've changed to led are the underseat light and the liscense plate light. I replaced the stock liscense plate bolts with the lighted bolts ($5 ebay) and the plate went from yellowish in colour to a sharp blueish white when illuminated at night. |

| The brake light is a 7443 bulb and at www.superbrightleds.com there are some replacement ones listed that range from $12-$30. I too am looking to replace my tail lights with LED to make me easier to see (I hope). |

| I am looking to replace my amber turn signals (PY21W, 150 offset) to a matching 'red' led bulb. My husband installed the admore light kit on my Givi V46 top case, and we want everything to be red. At www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/tail-brake-turn/7507-py21w-led-bulb-18-smd-led-tower-bau15s-retrofit-car/527/#/attributes/13/, they carry part# BAU15S-R18-T. Does this look like what I am looking for? Do you think I will need the load resistor for each light. www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/car-install-supplies/led-light-load-resistor-kit-turn-signal-hyper-flash-warning-fix/190/831/ (have an email in to them now).
Thanks for any help! |

| I sure like the LED lights. On my GT the only bulbs on the bike are two headlight bulbs I can easily reach to change. A great improvement over my old Goldwing which had over twenty tiny bulbs in the instrument panel that often needed changing. |
